Life Care Planning

The purpose of a Life Care Plan is to assess an evaluee’s needs for future medical and related services, current level of function, activities of daily living and independent living needs, as well as develop a long-term care plan to identify reasonable and expected costs through life expectancy in light of injuries and impairments.

A Life Care Plan is a dynamic document based upon published standards of practice, comprehensive assessment, data analysis, and research which provides an organized, concise plan for current and future needs, with associated costs, for individuals who have experienced catastrophic injury or have chronic health care needs.

Cost figures contained in each Life Care Plan are based on research and current rates in the evaluee’s particular region of the United States.

A Life Care Plan can be utilized for various purposes that may include reserving funds for lifetime medical costs or defending damages in legal proceedings.
